Reworked Blue and Purple tie dyed wrap skirt - size Small/Medium

This reworked wrap skirt is made from a reclaimed cotton skirt and a mix of cotton, lace and satin ribbon.

The skirt has been tie dyed blue and purple and wraps through a back guide for the tie to slip through in order to fit a multitude of sizes. The skirt is embroidered and has layers of lace and ribbon trim. Some flowers and lace are appliqued to the front near the waist.
there are a number of butterflies appliquéd over the skirt.

This skirt is designed to fit multiple sizes - small to medium.

MEASUREMENTS (LYING FLAT UNSTRETCHED) IN CM:
Total waist not including ties: 100cm
Waist tie guide (distance from edge of front of skirt (inner)): 70cm
Length: 58cm

The majority of materials used to create my items are upcycled, refashioned or reworked from my collection of preloved garments, unique textiles, vintage linens and found treasures.

Due to the different settings and fidelity in computer monitors and devices, the fabric and colour tones may appear slightly different in person. I do my best to photograph the items as accurately as possible. However variations in time of day, daylight, shade etc. can also affect this.

Unfortunately, shipping can incur some wrinkling in the fabrics, and as this garment is made from a variety of mediums it will require care when washing, drying or ironing (pressing).

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Each fabric piece can respond differently to heat so:
- when washing, cold water and hand washing is recommended as this skirt has been dyed and there may be residual dye in the fabric
- when drying, natural air dry is preferable over tumble drying as some fabrics may shrink
- when ironing, set the iron to a warm rather than hot setting and iron from the reverse side or with a piece of cotton over any delicate fabrics
