Reworked Green Denim Fairy Wood Sprite Dress - size Small/Medium
Reworked Green Denim Fairy Wood Sprite Dress - size Small/Medium
This reworked upcycled dress is made from a reclaimed mix of cotton and denim fabrics from other items unable to be rescued.
This dress is made from denim and has been dyed and painted. The dress is sleeveless and has a raggy tatter hem, trimmed with green laces. This is a pullover/pull on dress which laces at the back so you can cinch the waist in if you prefer a more snug fit. There is a cut out at the side of the waist with a crochet doily appliqué.
The dress also has a subtle gold glitter effect all over.
This dress would best fit a size 8-10 AU.

MATERIALS AND EMBELLISHMENTS
The majority of materials used to create my items are upcycled, refashioned or reworked from my collection of preloved garments, unique textiles, vintage linens and found treasures.
Used in this item are:
-denim jeans
-cotton
-lace
-green dye
-green fabric paint
-gold glitter fabric paint
Due to the different settings and fidelity in computer monitors and devices, the fabric and colour tones may appear slightly different in person. I do my best to photograph the items as accurately as possible. However variations in time of day, daylight, shade etc. can also affect this.
Unfortunately, shipping can incur some wrinkling in the fabrics, and as this garment is made from a variety of mediums it will require care when washing, drying or ironing (pressing).
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Each fabric piece can respond differently to heat so:
- when washing, cold water and hand washing is recommended as this item has delicate trims and has been dyed, which may mean the is residual dye in the fabric.
- when drying, natural air dry is preferable over tumble drying as some fabrics may shrink
- when ironing, set the iron to a warm rather than hot setting and iron from the reverse side or with a piece of cotton over any delicate fabrics
